Over 100 recipes, with more than 100 that have never graced the pages of this website. Our publisher doesn’t want us to divulge too much info at this point, but we can say that we’re ecstatic to announce that we have PIONEERED a brand new way to make Paleo & Primal desserts. There’s not one speck of almond flour in this book! Everything is still completely grain and gluten free, low carb (some with no added sugar)…and tested perfect enough to fool those who don’t even eat Paleo.
We’ve been working on the book for quite a while now, and we have completely neglected you. I do apologize for that…but hopefully, this announcement will alleviate any misgivings.
Now, all that’s left, is for me to learn how to write coherent, grammatically correct, punctuated, sentences.

September 19, 2012 at 1:21 pmI was wondering and hoping it wasn’t something terrible. Can’t wait! I love to make baked goods but I feel like I don’t need all that almond flour.

September 19, 2012 at 3:25 pmCannot. Wait!!! I’m eating an almond flour biscuit as I write this, and while it’s tasty, I know we rely on almond flour/butter way more than is healthy. I’m really looking forward to trying your recipes, which are invariably awesome.

September 19, 2012 at 7:39 pmHoping we can buy as ebook or app. I am overseas and it really difficult and expensive to get anything shipped! Looking forward to no almond flour. I have a terrible time just finding almonds on the other side of the world.

September 21, 2012 at 4:04 pmSo glad to hear you won’t be using almond flour. Does that mean you’ll be using flours from starchy vegetables instead?

September 24, 2012 at 1:09 pmthat is fantastic! when i FIRST transitioned to paleo, almost a year ago, it was your site and a couple others that were the first ones i looked at to learn about paleo etc. im so excited there will be no almond flour in your recipes, that will definitely set it apart from so many other paleo cookbooks. sometimes i can tolerate almond flour and sometimes i cant, but is always think it would make the food so much better if it was just left out. nut flour is creative when you first hear of it and use it, but after time it gets old, or feels uninspired. too much omega 3 and oxidization, plus you dont need to be consuming that much NUT all at once, all the time!

September 24, 2012 at 11:03 pmOMG, OMG, OMG! AWESOME! Seriously cannot wait! I’ll buy a hard copy book if I could have it autographed 🙂 I absolutely love your recipes. Your site is what got me into paleo/primal and loving to cook. It’s been two years now I haven’t looked back. Thanks again for all you guys do!

September 25, 2012 at 3:09 pmSo happy for you guys!! Jody & I are at the tail end of our [shall I say 1st?] Whole30 and *loving* it. Ok, well loving most of it…the whole no beer/wine/cider thing is getting a little tiresome. 😉
Anyhow, hoping that the cookbook is out in time for the holidays (fingers crossed?) so I can give it to all of my fellow cavepeople. 😉
Hope you guys are swell & to see you IRL soonest!

September 29, 2012 at 3:55 pm1. Awesome.
2. Almonds aren’t grains so what’s the problem with almond flour…?
Brandon K
September 30, 2012 at 2:20 pmIt’s not the worst thing you can eat but many people have nut allergies. And the other concern is a still relatively high omega 6 content which many folks try to keep low, especially true when cooked and potentially oxidized (inflammatory).
